Inflate your tyres correctly and save on fuel
Posted by admin under Automotive
Tyre pressure should be checked for properly inflation levels every two weeks. By keeping the correct tyre pressure at all times you ensure best fuel efficiency. When tyre pressure falls below the recommended levels, the tyre does not roll as easily, meaning that you vehicle must work harder to turn each wheel, which leads to using more fuel. Also when tyres are under-inflated they wear our faster, meaning you have to replace them more often. Make sure not to overinflate tyres as this can lead to blowouts and premature tyre wear. While blowouts don’t happen as often because of new tyre materials, have over-inflated tyres can lead to blowouts.
